Refund-Policy

Product Inspection

Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt. If the item is damaged, defective, or malfunctioning, please contact us within 3 days after delivery.

Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return, the item must be in the same condition as when received. It must be unused, unworn, with tags attached, and in its original packaging. A receipt or proof of purchase is also required.

To initiate a return, please contact us at info@area-japan.co.jp.

If your return is approved, we will provide a return shipping label and instructions on how to send back the item. Items sent back without prior return authorization will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues

Please check your order immediately upon receipt. If the item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, contact us immediately so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / Non-returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Custom products (special orders or personalized items)

Please contact us if you have questions about a specific item.

Sale items and gift cards are also non-returnable.

Exchanges

If you wish to exchange an item, the fastest way is to return the item first and, once the return is approved, make a separate purchase for the new item.

14-Day Cooling-off Period

Notwithstanding the above, if the goods are delivered, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days for any reason. The item must be in the same condition as when received, unused, unworn, with tags, and in its original packaging. A receipt or proof of purchase is required.

 

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you whether the refund has been approved. If approved, the refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Please note that it may take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since your return was approved and you have not received your refund, please contact us at info@area-japan.co.jp.
